Calgary Boxing & Wrestling Commission:

CALGARY SANCTIONS: Boxing, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS TO BE LICENSED IN CALGARY ARE:

Edmonton Boxing & Wrestling Commission:

EDMONTON SANCTIONS: boxing, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, muay thai

Licenses issued in Edmonton expire December 31 of each year.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS TO BE LICENSED IN EDMONTON ARE:
Blood work - HIV, HEP B, HEP C; ECG ; General Medical (including Eye exam) by Commission Physician.
Cat Scans are required for all combat sport participants for comparison purposes later in the boxer's career.

NOTE: Inactive boxers (more than 12 months) must complete a VO2 Max test in order to compete in Edmonton.

NOTE: It is the responsibility of a "host" commission to verify the dates on the boxer's medical test results, and to confirm the boxer is not under either a medical suspension / mandatory rest period, or any other suspension.
