Head Injury Observation Sign List Which Can Denote Cerebral Injury

As of June 2001 

Instructions For Boxers Who Have Endured A Tough Fight Or With Possible Head Injuries

  1. Increasing drowsiness; or
  2. Difficulty in rousing the patient (the patient should be awakened every hour during the first night); or
  3. Vomiting; or
  4. Slowing of pulse; or
  5. Continued headache; or
  6. Stiffness of neck; or
  7. Bleeding or clear fluid dripping from the ears or nose; or
  8. Weakness of either leg or arm; or
  9. Convulsions (fits).
